Does the number 110 denote a 110 year anniversary ?? That's a joke...... That would be like having a 40 year wedding anniversary, but having one wife for 25 years ( Springfield: original Indians ) , #2 wife ( Clymer mini bikes in the 70's ) 5 years , #3 wife ( Gilroy shit bikes ) 5 years , and wife #4 ( Kings Mtn bikes ) 5 more years, yeah that really adds up...................

I do hope for Victoty's sake they come up with something good with this next reiteration of Indian, but lets be real about the time line....

Steve, I don't believe they'll let that die. The Indian keepers want to maintain that time like being in a coma during the off years. The die hards haven't left the 1950's and the rest of the wanna-bees just would like to own one. So it is as real as it gets, yep, 110 years ago the Indian motorcycle was born....

While the immediate future may not change Indian much, let profit monies come into the picture, and see what happens. Ultimately, I don't think that Polaris will fund a losing product line. Given the economics of today, semi-mass producing a product line that targets a select few really isn't going to work, imho. Now, makinig Indians just a bit more streamlined, and easier, less costly, to produce and support, makes sense. So that maybe the real future for the Polaris Indian, it's just a little too early to say it. Of course that's imho.
