Does any one have or know where to download the directions, and install info for the Victory CD player?

So Cal
When I first bought my bike I noticed the CD player was a Sony. Victory chages $600. I found the Sonys on line foe less than $200. Always wondered if they were the same. Never went beyond wondering. The Sonys are hard to find now. Everyone's going MP3. Can't see any reason for Sony to make a special player for Victory considering the low volume of sales, but you never know. You need the entertainment harness for anything more than an MP3. I had to get it for the factory XM.

I thought it was installed in the "neck" of the Trunk, right???? I think the Vic unit was only a 6 disk changer... frankly, I purchased my Ipod for MUCH less then Vic wants for this and can get a helluva lot more albums to listen to. I may decide to get the XM later on just for some additional options. Just purchased the CB/Comm System... so I think I'll already have the wiring for XM (same P/N if i recall) - just need the head unit and antennae.

Nope. The CD Player goes in the trunk. It is too big to fit in the neck....even if it did how would you put CD's in it.

I heard they also had an 8 track player . . . Oh wait, that's Harley . . . Never mind. Seriously, don't even bother with CD player. Not only is an iPod cheaper, easier to install, and better sounding, but you can rip any CD you have and put it on you iPod.
