Posts: 1324 So Cal | When I first bought my bike I noticed the CD player was a Sony. Victory chages $600. I found the Sonys on line foe less than $200. Always wondered if they were the same. Never went beyond wondering. The Sonys are hard to find now. Everyone's going MP3. Can't see any reason for Sony to make a special player for Victory considering the low volume of sales, but you never know. You need the entertainment harness for anything more than an MP3. I had to get it for the factory XM. |

Posts: 130 Houston, Tx | I thought it was installed in the "neck" of the Trunk, right???? I think the Vic unit was only a 6 disk changer... frankly, I purchased my Ipod for MUCH less then Vic wants for this and can get a helluva lot more albums to listen to. I may decide to get the XM later on just for some additional options. Just purchased the CB/Comm System... so I think I'll already have the wiring for XM (same P/N if i recall) - just need the head unit and antennae. |

Not only is an iPod cheaper, easier to install, and better sounding, but you can rip any CD you have and put it on you iPod. |
