Hi Everyone,

I've been hoping to hear something about some one picking up the Victory Brand in the area but nothing yet. Just trying to find out if there are any rumors. Also, what other Victory dealerships have you experience with, close to the area?

Thanks for your input.

where are you bing? I've not heard anything, not that I've got my ear closest to the ground, but there really is very little options unless it would be a start up.

Southern Maryland seems good, and I know there is one in the Hampton Roads area, as well as Forest, Va by Lynchburg. All seem to be OK, I've not tried Star City (Roanoke) yet, but that is your choices at this time. I did hear there is a dealer in Harrisonburg, but I've not seen that show up on the victory page yet.

Hey Cap'n,

I'm in Midlothian, 288 and Hull area. I went to All out Cycles in Chesapeake a couple weeks ago on the way to OBX but didn't really get a good feeling about them. I also went to the one in Forest last Fall, but it was mostly 4wheelers and Hunting gear at the time. I'm hoping next spring will be the time for me to move on a Vision. I like to get things lined up early. I was hoping somebody might have some experience with some of these dealers, even Southern Maryland, it's just as close as the Beach area. I just can't get the Vision out of my head!
I currently ride an '07 Black M109R and lead a riding group every 3rd Saturday at Southside Nazerene located at 288 & Courthouse Road. You can check us out at wwwfacebook.com/SouthsideRiders if you care to. Also see some of our rides at http://www.vimeo.com/southsideriders .

I rode by Soutside Nazerene on the way to work this morning. I work in the Mid-loathian area on the pike by the powhite. Biscuit is up this way also, he has a Vision currently. If you like riding, you'll love the Vision. I'd start hagglin' with So. Md, Roanoke and Forest to see who can or will get you the best deal.

I did that with with the Zook dealers, ended up buying in Charlottesville. Since there wasn't much change in the 2012's i'm hoping the 11s will drop a lot. hopefully get me a deal. I would prefer a Black one but since they skipped it for 2 years now, I Like the 2011 red and black as well. Would be a little cooler in the summer months I would hope. Is yours a custom paint color?

I go 288 everyday to Glen Allen for work, I'm suprised I haven't seen you on the road. I'm always looking for Visions. I saw one a couple months ago when my group was riding through Crewe, it was pretty quick, but I think it was an 8Ball Vision. I know I would love the ride, My wife sold her M50 last summer so I really want a Vision so she can ride with me again, she doesn't like being on the 109 even with a backrest. Also, i'm ready to do a little touring. My plan is to keep my 109 though, it's just too fun to ride, I can't let go of it.

I gotta go, but I'll catch up with the site tomorrow, I really like all the info here. Hopefully we can meet sometime.

I ride 288 occassionally, today happened to be that day. I streak through around the 6:30 - 7:30 hour, and home around 4:15 - 6:00pm. Mostly I ride I95 to the chip.

That explains why I haven't seen you. My group is riding to the Michie Tavern over by C'ville August 20th, kickstands up at 9:00 leaving from Southside Church, 288&Courthouse, you're welcome to come, wife too.

Bing,

At one time...I heard some rumblings that Foley Motorsports was considering picking up the

Victory line. That was about five months ago, and haven't heard any more on it.

For me, Southern Maryland would be my choice until we get another local dealer.

Thanks for the info. So. Maryland looks like a good shop, I'm hoping to get up there in a few weeks to check it out.

Hey Bing,
I'm at Courthouse and Lucks and I bought my Vision at Coastal Victory in Murrells Inlet, SC. After calling every dealer in 5 states I got the best deal there. And like the bike before the Vision I just hopped a flight (cheap) and rode it back home. You and the wife won't regret the purchase of a Vision.

Bing,

I live in Chesterfield off Rte 10 by River's Bend. I have a 2009 Vision that I bought from Catlin's about 4 months before they closed. I have had used the forest dealership for some maintenance and warranty work and have been real please with their service. I started using Forest dealership only because I prefer to ride up towards Lynchburg than down to the Chesapeake area.

I'm kind of in the same boat as you as I'm looking to trade up to a 2011 Vision and am in the process of getting quotes now. Since we don't really have a "local dealer", I'm willing to travel as far down as SC and up to PA for the best deal - any excuse for a road trip.

Also, I looked at your web site and the ride on the 20th looks interesting...is this open to anyone??

Bill

Might be a little far for some of you, but I'm the general manager of Star City Powersports in Roanoke, and we picked up Victory back in April. If there's anything I can help you guys with, just drop me a line by email or call the store at 540-366-8500. We're a big store, and I had a lot of experience with Victory at my previous dealership in Alabama.

Hey Bill,

Thanks for letting me know, I'm glad you have some experience with the one in Forest, the guy seemed nice but wasn't real informative. It helps knowing someone has had a good experience with them. Yea, I don't mind buying out of state as long as it's worth it. I wish Catlin's would have stayed around I heard nothing but great things about them, most common was , Good People.

Yes, absolutely, the ride is open to everyone, All Bikes, All Riders, welcome all the time. We would be glad to have any of ya'll come with us. Hey if your on facebook, click the "like" button and you'll get all our ride info and updates when we have them.

Thanks, I may try and get down there at the end of September, last visit to SML. Not too much further to swing by and see your shop.

The guys at All Out in Chesapeake used to be pawn shop owners, so they are a bit rough around the edges. I have bought 3 bikes and one ATV from them, and they know me well there. David even helped find a buyer for my wife's old 8-Ball - at no extra charge.

They are honest guys, and they don't pull any punches when you negotiate with them. You just have to be willing to throw a punch back to get a good deal.

Yes, and yes. Years ago I would rate the shop as below average, but today I would rate the shop as average.

They are not and do not want to be a premier customizing shop, so they will play dumb on non-Victory modifications.

Well Commonwealth Powersports in Colonial Heights now has Victory. I just had some warranty work done there last week on my Vision. They have a Vision, Vegas, Cross Roads, and a Judge new on the floor. An open house for the Victory line is scheduled in Sept.

Ride safe,

Jim
