Joplin, Mo | Hi All;
I am new to the forum and just bought my 2011 Victory Vision Pearl White the last of June. I have almost 4000 Miles on it now, and really love it.
I live in the Joplin, Mo area and with the heat right now, I am not going to get out there and burn up. I have had the bike out some, but not like I normally would have in the 70 degree temps.
I took the bike up to Eau Claire, Wi right after I got the breakin done and what a ride. I traded in a 2009 Suzuki C109RT for the Vision and am certainly not sorry. I had 3 Suzuki's a C50T, and a C90T. The C90T was the nicest bike to ride I had ever ridden until I got on the Vision. It only took a couple of blocks for me to realize that it had a low center of gravity like my C90T and even better handling ability. It is a much better road bike. I had almost 20,000 on the C109RT and bought it in September of 09, and only had the C90T for 4 1/2 months, but made a trip to Arizona, thus had 7700 miles on it when I got rid of it.
I hope to be going to Iowa this month to the Victory Rally and then over to Waterloo, Ia to see some of my inlaws.
Glad to have such a great forum, and will enjoy it, thank you all for all the information I will be able to glean.

Jasper, MO | Welcome neighbor! I'm about 25 miles northeast of Joplin. Not many Victorys around these parts. I had the only one for years (starting in 2000). Yeah, this heat is a bear. What's it been? Probably a month now with temps reaching 100+ every day? Where did you get your bike? We'll have to get together somewhere. Nearly everyone else I know of with a Victory is in Springfield or Kansas City or out towards Wichita. Great folks, but too far away to see them very often. I run into them at some of the regional rallies. I knew some from down in Arkansas back in the good ole days, but they moved on and I haven't seen nor heard from them in a few years.
