Simply beautiful, but otherwise worthless land area, unless you want to grow rocks.
I hope to re-visit this area again this August/September on my Vision. |

scotts valley, California | Not intending to be rude or argumentative, I love Utah. I have cruised the fifty states, lived in more than I can count, and I personally believe that Utah is the most beautiful. When God created the world, He must have saved Utah until the very end, when He really, really knew what He was doing! And, no, I am not Mormon. Check out the Arches National Monument, near Moab, when you ride through. |

| I'm not Mormon either and I have lived all over the world. I can't think of a better place to ride a motorcycle that tops Utah. It is America's Best Kept Secret .

I'm not a Mormon either.
Very beautiful area that I spent almost 2 full days enjoying while riding 600+ miles out of a 6,400 mile trip.
A lot of the area is Tribal owned, due to the fact that no White man in his right mind could find any use for it.
So, we gave it to the Native Americans.
Other than it's natural beauty caused by wind and rain erosion over thousands of years, I can't see what else it's good for.
Judging by the lack of population, it seems I'm correct.
I have recently heard that drilling for natural gas is going to be started very close to some of the most famous sites that we all like to visit.
I'm glad I have my pictures without the gas rigs in the background.

| Hey it's good to hear and that others have experianced the beauty of Utah. I mentioned S.R. 12 on another forum on this site. It is gorgous, some of the prettiest 50 miles you'll travel anywhere. Enjoy the ride. God bless. |
