Here is an INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO on how to prepare for a long bike ride.

Or - how a young, beautiful wife - who wants more housekeeping (or OTHER) duties out of you - gets you going....

I think she wants to keep you around longer. You're starting to become a nice guy too. Keep the video's coming, I'm retired vicariously through you. I still got about another 15 years to go before I enjoy leisurely rolls around the country.

Beautiful country!

HA!  Reminds me of Clint Eastwood trying to keep up with "George" the Native American babe in "The Eiger Sanction".

Well, my darling was a world-class swimmer for Japan, then an instructor until she was 30. She has the body of an 18 year-old!
And I have had multiple heart surgery including a quintuple-bypass - and 20 years of angina. The canyon in that video is 300 feet below the starting point, which would be like walking down the exit stairs of a 20-story building, then back up the stairs. Here is a video of the suspension bridge in the canyon located about a mile from my house back when, and maybe 5 miles from me now. Two of my adolescent friends died in that canyon - along with many others. You don't screw with nature, here.

Wow.I got to get up your way again before your too old. Lived over on whidbey island for a few years. Know the scenery and nature well up there. The video was awesome nice coverage on the stairs, I thi.k I saw some water and trees, but mostly stairs. Were those ancient mahogany concrete stairs? Throw in a little "im gonna bard! " mixed in with some soothing music quite awesome!
