Seems like a high demand item, you would think Victory would capitalize on that with another $500 item that cost them $9.50 to make. I have a Cardo Scala rider set and yes it works great but I want to be plugged into the bike so I can get all my music and GPS.

Although the J&M corporation was looking into developing a dongle to incorporate bluetooth cellphone capability into their headphones for the Vision two or three years ago when I talked with John Lazzeroni there, he said the project was not a real high priority because of the development costs and limited marketability to Vision owners. Maybe if enough VIsion owners contact him it will boost the chances of development.

What? You want to take phone calls while you are riding? You are kidding aren't you?? Why not just drive a car so you can chat on the phone and run bikers off the road? It's been made clear from numerous studies that talking on the phone while driving (even using hands free) changes driving skills and reaction time to that of a drunk driver. PLEASE, lets' not reduce ourselves to the idiocy of cagers. Now get off the phone and DRIVE!

I'm not retarded, I can talk and drive at the same time. But I thank you for your concern.

It looks like the Scala system should allow you to connect everything that is Blue Tooth to your headset. I have a Sena system and can connect to my iPhone for calls, and also for music. I can also connect to the iPod I have in the side box. When I connect to the iPod via Blue Tooth I can no longer control the iPod with the bike controls, so what ever playlist is on is the one I listen to. I am told that any of the GPS apps that will talk to you on the iPhone will also come through the headset and will mute the music. The phone also mutes the music.

I got the system mostly as an intercom, but the phone comes in very handy when my wife want to know how long it will be until I am home.

I find that I don't use the music function on the headset much as I find that I can hear the music just fine from the bike system and I tend to jump around my songs and playlists depending on the mood I am in.

Mattchristiani, now you have really shown your lack of intelligence. The studies show that ANYONE that uses the phone and drives has the reaction time of a drink driver. I don't give a shitz if you are a member of MENSA or a star athlete with incredible reaction time. Get a CLUE! You are not EXEMPT!

Chill, dude! You came out swinging here, and there was no need for the amped-up level of your personal attack.  The OP asked a legitimate question and you exploded on him and did not add anything positive to what was being asked.

There is a time and place for using a phone, and yes, sometimes on the bike.

I'm not saying I'm advocating long, chatty, distracting conversations on it.  But sometimes you need to be able to use a phone - like for instance, when that drunk nearly runs you off the road and you call the state patrol.  Or if I have a family emergency and they need to contact me.  You don't know everyone's situation. And yes, some people are better than others at handling distractions. I read those studies also, and there ARE people whose driving abilities are not degraded.

That being said, let's all take a deep breath here and get out on two wheels and enjoy the ride. (Except me - I'm about 2700 miles away from my bike and won't be back to it for another month. Drat.)

I also have the SENA SMH10 and it works fine for music, GPS and yes phone. I don't tell people that I have phone access so when it rings and tells me who is calling I can decide to answer or not and most times it's not; if I'm not on the slab I pull over same as I do in the cage.

Obviously YOU are not exempt my friend. I asked a simple straight forward question, that contained little ambiguity. Your assessment of my intelligence level is noted and everyone is entitled to their opinion. Yes, my reaction time is stellar yet that has little to do with this or the application of simple communication while in transit. If I can't make a call and ride I mind as well pack it in. The studies you refer to test the general population, which as I can best tell, is comprised mostly of lemon headed troglodytes who couldn't find their ass with a funnel. Thanks for you input.

I make phone calls on my tractor and even text when cutting the grass, it's hard to hear but I can say, call me back. Personnally I 'm not a phan at all chattin' on the phone will driving down a highway, regardless of what you riding or driving. However, in the name of safety, I would love to have the ability to recieve the call in flight to confirm things, though honestly it can wait. I've never had the pressing issue to keep up something in flight unless we are traveling in pairs. I used the cb to talk with my wife on the way to florida, but how much easier would it have been to have the fone set up to find out what happen to her between exits and out of CB reach. I had to find a place to get off the interstate, find a place to stop, get out my phone and dial the phone to talk with her and say, "Where are you". Okay, so I'm not even using the CB anymore because Victory headsets are pure junk, but let me know if you get things worked out. For safety sake I would like this feature, but not if I'm getting my Indian, I want the world to just leave me a lone when I'll be on my Chief!

Perhaps I "came out swinging" as it was stated. But I feel strongly about this issue and I know many differ. I have a friend who was killed by a driver who was "chatting" on the phone.

To me it is unbelievable that any biker would consider talking while driving. It's unsafe and the research proves it. There isn't one study that shows better or equal driving while using a phone, even hands free phone calls. One study even checked out talking to a passenger in the front seat, as many thought that would have similar results. But they found talking to a passenger actually increased the safety factor. No one is exempt and when you have an accident it usually takes someone else along with you.

Hey, maybe you can do some texting while driving too. I'm sure that's not a problem either!

Yea, no worries, this is my last post on this subject.

So I would gather the answer is no, no one has figured it out. Sounds like a niche' in the market that needs to be filled.
