| The rear edges on the inside of the saddlebags next to the tail lights are rubbing away the paint finish. It is not noticeable with the bags closed, but very ugly with them open..I put some velcro strips with the soft side up to help for now...Anyone else with the issue have ideas or those with any help is welcome....Thanks |

Posts: 492 Indianapolis, IN | I found some round stick on bumper pads in the hardware that are a soft black foam material, about 3/8" dia. I stuck them on the inside of the lid along the edge in a few spots so they hold the plastic edge of the lid slightly off the box. Not the perfect solution but seems to work and also eliminated some of the vibration rattle coming from the side bags. |

| Not only did that happen to me, but when I removed the trunk to ride solo, there were a couple very bad rub marks from where the trunk seated to the bike. I'm going to take it to the dealer. What's the point of promoting the ability to remove the trunk if the trunk damages the mating parts on the bike? |

Do they still keep the rain and dust out?
