Subject: Ness Big Honkers Resale Value?

I'm considering an exhaust change. Any thoughts on what a fair selling price for the honkers would be? Not sure it matters but they have 4800 miles on them.

Georgia, west of Atlanta		I've sold both a Bassani 2-1 AND some CFR slip ons for my RoadGlide very quickly at $400.00.................How much were those Big Honkers New?? Try stasting at 65% of new value if they still clean up new looking...............

Salinas, Ca.		Big Honkers are just shy of $450 new. I would try selling them for around $250-$275. So, 65% of new value like XRsteve suggested.

Houston, Tx		You can start there maybe if you include shipping. I'll tell you I picked my set up at a very reasonable price b/c the previous owner wanted to get rid of them ...said they were to loud. He had already acquired another set, believe he was rolling back to S1L1's I think b/c he'd been pulled over to many times. I got mine for less then $200 (shipping included from Cali to Houston,Tx). To date...I've yet to be pulled over by the cops and love the tone. May switch later to D&D's when I do motor upgrades but was to cheap to pay their price early on since I had to get rid of the sewing machine volume.

Dealer did the remap, along with a Ness intake and filter. If and when the time comes I want to price them to move.
