I'd like to wire the audio output of a zumo 550 into the Nav Audio input of the radio that I see on the wiring schematic.

1. Has anyone done this? What did they have to do?

2. Is the switched power leads (brown/pnk and grey) that are found loose under the console cover used for the GPS from Victory?

3. Am I correct in assuming that any Nav Audio to the radio will interupt whatever is playing (radio, ipod) to play directions?

Thanks in advance

Did you install a 2008 or 2010 radio?

One of the differences is that the 2008 Nav Audio input is mono and the 2010 or higher radio has a stereo Nav Audio input.

1. I had read here that people have done it.

2. I do not know

3. Yes, I think this is correct for both radios.

Pretty sure it was determined that even the 2011 aren't set up for stereo gps. It shouldn't matter with the 550 though. To get steroe XM with my Zumo 665 I had to plug into the regular AUX mp3 wires. I do not get the nav override if I am listening to the FM radio however.
