Hi Everyone,

Well I just got my used 2008 Victory Vision Tour Premium delivered to my front door. The bike has about 10.000 miles on it, and was an old Victory Demo bike. Since this bike has never been titled, Victory gave me two years full warranty with it. Can?t complain about that now can we

Since I am 7?3? and have inseam of 40? I need a bike that I can truly enjoy riding and not have to worry about giving up comfort. The first night I drove it I was blown away how much I really like this bike, and how comfortable it really was. Even before, I made any modification on it.

Right now, I have dropped it off at the local Victory Dealer and I have them put the new 2? forward handlebars, and move the cube controls above the handlebars instead of below. This will give me more clearance with my legs for driving.

Question for other members of this great motorcycle, has anyone changed their seat? For any other members that are tall did you find a seat that went back 2? and still have heated seats? I understand that I might have to go custom, I did on my older motorcycle.

If you have any suggestions about modifications that I can make to give me more space then I all ready have that would be great! (I am actively searching many message boards for answers about any questions I have)

Thanks for the info and see you on the road.

I have no mod advice, but you Sir have successfully made a large bike appear not so big. Congrats on your new Vision.

Congratulations on your new bike! HMD may be able to help you out on the seat, I think he can even keep it heated. Arizona Victory sells a very forward highway peg that mounts to the front tip-overs. This may help you stretch out a little. 7jurock makes a nice winshield that you can order in a taller size (maybe +4 or +6).
Long rides, I sometimes sit on the passenger seat to stretch out as well, however you've almost got a foot on me.

Yeah, are you sure we have the same bike. Mine looks much larger. Did he get one of those 3/4 scale bikes? Just kidding!

Have a custom braket bolted in under the front tipover and extend it forward a few feet, attach a peg and hang out. If it were me, check out the rear seat and see if that is too far back, I can hop up there and ride around but unable to reach the foot pegs. I would probably do a custom seat raising the driver seat height up to the height of the passenger and make an old school bench. If you get that far away you may not need the 2" forward controls. Higher windshield, as above, or I think on Cee Bailey they will custom order, I thought. Enjoy, I know I have.

Welcome to the party.

Call/e-mail Mike Saenz here at Heavy Metal Designz  http://www.hmd520.com/news.html  He is a Vision owner and can move your seat back and keep the heated elements.  He is well connected with Arizona Victory and also sells Ness stuff.   Great guy.

Man, He could just sit on the passenger seat and have a nice backrest at the same time!

Welcome. 6'8" here and my modifications are listed below. The Vision is by far the best bike for the tall rider.
