Posts: 785 Mt. Don't know what your passenger would do with their drink-but they pretty much do have both hands free all the time.
You'll need a metric allen wrench set. |

Kruzer Kaddy.
Yea, I had that on my past bikes. There seems to be no application for the Vision, am I missing something? |

Posts: 160 Camas Washington | Every morning I ride into work with a large 32 oz cup of java (plastic starbucks clear cup). I use the Victory holder with the ram ball on the left side. Works great. The key is the have the mount sticking straight up with a little lean to the back. This way the cup will lean up against the arm and sway around. The holder has 2 hooks which I take a large rubber band to hold in place until I get to work. If i want to drink while riding it requires a smaller cup with out the rubber band holding it in place. Smaller cup the wind will not effect it in the holder. |

Posts: 102 Cedar, Michigan | So you guys that have a Ram Ball mounted toward the outside of the clutch and brake reservoirs must have a different housing than I do. There is no hole tapped on my 2008 Vision Premium Tour.

that's true, you can do your own though as some has done, or buy newer ones with the holes. |

Since she's back there the top of her leg makes a great arm rest for the rider when he needs to rest one or the other. There are other benefits to the "rear passenger cup holder", but we'll leave that to everybody's imagination. ;-) |

Posts: 4 Maricopa, Arizona | I actually used one of those Aluminum Drink Bottles that are so popular these days. I cut it off, smoothed the cut edge, drilled some holes in the bottom for drainage (rain and spills), and I mounted it with a rubber guarded electrical cable strap with a machine screw, lock-nut, and nylon bushing. I placed it between the clutch reservoir and the handlebars. It's sprayed Gloss Black. Since I waited till I could find a wide bottle to use, it takes up to a 32 oz cup in it. I've been riding with it for about 5000 miles with not slippage, spillage, or other mishaps. Total cost to make $4.00 and about an hour to build for those of us who are semi-handy. If anyone is interested, I can post some pictures. |

Posts: 492 Indianapolis, IN | G187 Welcome to the forum. We are able to put a standard coffee mug in ours, by this I mean the standard size mug that typically has logos and pictures on them that we give as a gift. Also it will work very well with the standard 32oz Styrofoam soft drink cup that most convenience/gas stations have at the soda dispenser. The 32oz fits snug and still balances well, not tippy. PS One other thing that's great about the Ram mount is that it's quick and easy to remove the cup holder and the ball mount can be used for any other accessory holder that Ram makes, cell phone, gps, mp3 player, map holder..............pistol holster....... LAPTOP!.......... just kidding ;-) They are somewhat universal in this way.

I wanted to install a cup holder on my bike so I could put a to-go cup from say a fast food place. The ram Ball cup holder will hold a very large cup in that sense. I put 44 oz. Sam's Club styro cups in it yesterday will no issue. |

Looks like you have it mounted into the mirror bolt hole on the front brake master cylinder. Did it come with that mounting, or was it special.

32oz plastic cup from any fast food or gas station. I prefer the McD's foam cup. it keeps the drink cold

I believe with the 2010's and later the threaded hols for mirror mounting are factory. It is very easy to drill and tap the holes yourself if your bike doesn't have them. Ram offers the 1 inch ball mounts with both metric and standard threads. The ball mount sold by victory is metric, I believe 10mmx1.25. |
