Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | Sorry, I had to steal uk's motovational poster after todays ride. The wife and I have had a challenging week, her more than me when tradegy struck last Saturday. Friday was our first, "breath" after everything settled down some so we went for a ride. Yesterday we went for another good ride for lunch and zillions of bikes were out all over the place because of the nice weather. After church today I said would you like to go for a ride for lunch. The skies are heavily overcast and the weather calls for scattered showers. I expected her to say no, but to my pleasant surprise she said yes. Then I asked where to, which she replies, "where else." Knowing she's referring to our favorite eating place in Williamsburg which is almost an hour away I say, "but it might rain." She says "So."
So off we went with pending rain and heavily overcast skies on one of the best rides we've ever had. I can say we didn't do any waving except when we passed a Gold Wing with a trailer from PA. on route 5.
Everyday is fair weather riding on a Vision.

A good co-pilot and some heavy weather make for a great riding adventure. |

Posts: 492 Indianapolis, IN | Hey nemo, glad to hear you folks got a break this weekend, and glad to hear your wife is such a great sport. Occasionally my wife will surprise me when she says, "so what......", when I point out the possibility of getting a little wet. ;-) I'd say the motivational poster from uknessie pretty much defines the nature of the vision and its riders. |

Posts: 444 Bay of Gigs, WA | We ride in the rain a lot. We NEVER go out in the rain, but usually the bike's wet by the time we get home. Except this weekend, 80 and sunny. Too bad summer's over probably!
Not scared of the rain, but terrified of dirty scooters! |
