Okay guys, I've had my Vision for a little over three years and during that time I have also had a 2nd generation iPod hooked up to the aux port using the optional iPod cable. What I have always thought odd was that when I turned the bike off (always turning off with the key) and when I went to start it the next time the stereo selection would always revert to the FM radio. Lately though I have gotten into the habit of first turning off the ignition with the kill switch and then turning the bike off with the key. Low and behold now when I turn the bike on, first by turning the key on and then the ignition by resetting the kill switch, the stereo input will always remain in the aux setting. Oh, I have also noticed that when I turn the bike off in this fashion that the radio display does not do what I have also termed the "space invaders dance". Has anyone else here noticed a similar situation with their stereo?

My radio has been set to "AUX" since I bought my Vision in '08. I always turn the bike off with the ignition switch and the radio always returns to the "AUX" setting when I start it the next time.

Paul, I'll check which firmware version I have in the stereo this afternoon when I pick the Vision from home.
