| I did a Cherry Bomb change over and just love it. Used Cherry Bomb mufflers and Cherry Bomb Resonators in a oval design. Just reformed the heat shields carfully by hand and put them on. Lots of bark under power but can still listen to my tunes cruising. Performance seams to be the same as the stage 1 pipes but has a much deeper rumble. Soon will put my stage 1 pipes and gatlin tips for sale as I am not going back there. | |

Rancho Cucamonga, CA | I absolutely love the sound! Not loud, just deep. No more popping than my L1S1s had (a few pops every 100-200 miles). No change in power, very smooth at all rpms> It really hits its zone at 2500rpm though. I just finished a 5 day ride with 20 Harleys, 3 Hondas and me -the lone Vic. Everyone was impressed with the sound quality and no one thought them to be loud when following. I can't say the same about some of the Harleys and I swear the Hondas are battery powered.
The only down side I had, was the paint on the right sided one burnt off in the middle. Nothing the chrome covers don't take care of though. | |
