Posts: 554 2 mi from Jim Beam n KY | Yeah, the Vision isn't big enough.I let a guy at work sit on my Vision, just trying it for size.He looked like a circus clown on a kids tricycle. The top of his knee's were fairly even with the dash.Oh!Did I mention he's 6' 10 1/2"?I'm still chuckling. What a sight that was!! |

Posts: 2300 Georgia, west of Atlanta | Hahahaha, first time I heard that, I'm always bitchin about the size of the saddlebags, but the bike itself, huge....... some people in jest ask if I need a class A liscense to drive it........ Someone that tall must always have problems with regular size vehicles. I saw a episode on one of "those" shows where a custom bike builder made a chopper for Shaquille O'Neal, the 124" HD engine in it looked like a small toy in the stretched out frame........... |

Posts: 199 Salt Lake City | 6-9 and 265 lbs. - played major college basketball for free, always have drawn attention, especially from the girls( in fact I married the one that all the guys wanted!), have lived a charmed life - but still get a little perturbed when others refer to big guys as circus freaks. It's all good. Actually, most bikes are too small for me; my VTX being the first that I could set up to make me comfortable. When I climbed on the VV, I knew at once that it'd literally be the perfect fit for me; all I needed to add was highway pegs to allow me to stretch out-purrfect, dude. I'll let you that don't know in on a little (not so secret)secret - Size Matters!
So what does a circus clown chuckle at?! Guys that say, "It's not the size of the dog in the fight, but the size of the fight in the dog." Now, that's funny! |

I have always worried about people as tall as you in places like my house. There is a ceiling fan in my kitchen that is so low that I cannot put my jacket on while standing under and I am 5'7".

Posts: 965 New York State | I'm 6 foot tall an average height. One of my friends is on the shorter side he has a very old home in NY state we were upstairs looking at some work to be done I needed a voltage tester I ran down the stairs and about the third step from the landing my forehead hits a beam my 250 lb ass crushed
an antique table that really looked nice at the base of the stairs . My buddy was howling he was laughing so hard I thought he might stop breathing he runs up to the third step and dancees up and down " Sucks being tall" he's shouting at me still pulling furniture out of my ass. |

If I was ever in your area, I'd be happy to split an onion with you at your house-we could just sit outside!! Don't know if I'd bring any of my four sons, three of which are 6-3, and one is 6-7. And yeah, they're all ex-college athletes like their old man! One has a tiny wife, and the other have wives that are 5-8, 5-9 and 5-10, respectively. We're happy to have the Wilsons building more jocks - we have all had some great experiences in sports; travelled, got college paid for, lived the dream that so many kids would love to get the chance to do. As for me, I'm not gonna let a little old 5'7" ceiling fan get in the way.....

Still trying to figure out to do with highway pegs, want to know what you did. If you can upload a picture of your highway pegs that would be great.
Thanks

Waiting stinks...

Posts: 2027 Brighton, TN | Flutch, Are you getting to live the charmed life also. Seeing as you are further into the stratosphere than I at a vertically challenged height of a stretching 5'10". Seems to me it would be interesting to know such things as Wilsondude has enjoyed. |

WHERE DO YOU WANT THEM TO MOUNT? I MAKE A MOUNTING BRACKET THAT MOUNTS
ON THE FROMT TIP OVER PROTECTORS THAT WILL ALLOW A VARIETY OF PEGS.
THEY ALLOW YOU TO STRETCH OUT IF YOU ARE A TALL RIDER. I HAVE THEM ON MY VISION.
I CAN SEND PICTURES IF YOU WISH?

Thanks. Looks like they might be in the way of the tip-over protection or extreme cornering. Sometimes I lay my bike on it's side to drain water after a wash or to access the underside. I'd like see highway pegs moiunted just above the tip-over thingies so I can avoid those limitations and able to rest my heels on the floorboards.
