| None of those guys looked that young to me. Healing after falling......I think this is the exact reason they wear those super heavy full length jackets and all.....would not be surprised if there was not lots of padding and motocross apparel under them. Posts: 785 Mt. Vernon, WASH. | Want to see the COSSACKS in action? -youtube- enter Seattle Cossacks drill team and select the 4:31 video.(done for TVW) These guys have been blowing minds for 60 years and the newest bike they ride is a 1947 45 inch H-D. as you'll see, they do their routine rain or shine, you will be amazed by the skills.
A couple of years ago they had a slip up and crashed a bike during a demo, the solution was 'get the plank' they got the plank they load the trailer with and had the offender lay in the street. The plank was laid on his chest and the heaviest guy in the team 'ran him over' by riding up the plank. Been watching these guys for 40+ years and NEVER saw that before, even goof ups are fun for them, and they put on one hell of a show!!!! |

I'd seen that video once before and wondered at just how long they had to figure it out and probably walk through it several times and then do it on the bikes, and did they do it just the one time? It is very cool!! All against a background of some overly officious Italian 'supremo Comandatore with a short temper and a loud whistle.

| Yes, that video has been around.....first time I saw it I wondered the same things you said.....plus......how could that many bikes made in Italy run in the same place and at the same time without just one of them having an issue and stopping. Imagine one bike coming to an abrupt stop!!!!! | Thomas I belonged to an ole vintage bike group and on our big rallies here many Brits would come over....take my word after a few beers.....something like the video would be happening in the hotel parking lot every night late....and not on dirt bikes.....but 600lb six cylinder 1980s CBX sport bikes. Not to be outdone the Canadians always had some 2am bike parking lot tricks that amazed everyone. We were lucky that we held these rallies outside a small town in WV....and rented all 75 rooms at the only hotel there for the entire week.....not to say that those who attended and went to bed at 10am were all that happy....but they put up with it. Ofcourse I never did any stuff like that ..... I could be convinced to throw a few pix up, but not so sure how the site adm would view this....let me think about this and find them.
