| What is the deal with the wind deflectors blowing my pants up to my knees? Talk about annoying. |

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | what? What position is your legs when this happens? I don't use the lowers, if that is what you're talking about, never had any problem on the Vision, but it was prevelant on the Wing. |

Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Tell me more! Wife just bought me lowers for my birthday - haven't put them on yet. We're heading for Utah in a few weeks and expect hot weather - but I'm not liking the idea of pants being where they shouldn't...

Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | On pants with lighter materials like Dockers it was an issue. Now that I wear only pants made from denim it is not an issue. For me it was worse before I bought the lowers. After the lowers were installed I could adjust them all the way in making a pocket of clam air for my legs while removing the engine heat with a blast of air.

Posts: 741 Central New York | What wind deflectors, upper, lower? I have had lowers since day one. Run them full out in cool weather and almost full in when hot. Either way my pants are fine. Maybe you need to question the pants and not the wind deflectors. |

You hit this right on the money, but it you don't have the lowers just right it is worse than stock.
I can't wear denim to work, and I have some clips, but the clips can't grab light fabrics too well.
In the end, the bike is better with the lowers, even though you can see my hairy legs. |

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | I found the best pant is Dickies with a pleated front - black of course. The only thing I don't like is that they come with the cellphone pocket on the right leg. - Chaps work with the dress pants though, but afterall, the wind is what we won't on a motorcycle, otherwise we would be a cager....

| I took those off the bike as soon as I got it (the upper wind deflectors that is) , looks better, wind flows better, ride is a little quieter. Those ugly things will never be on my Vision again.
