| i orderd a garmin 2820 to replace my 2720, because the 2820 is bluetooth! when calls come in i can here them thru my front speskers but no one can hear me! i have a headset by j & m ,i also have a factory installed cb and intercom! is there any way to talk thu my micrphone on my headset for the bluetooth gps

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Not with the 2820. Only the Zumo's or the Zuni 705,805 series have bluetooth transmission capabilities. All others are bluetooth recievers. There is a thread somewhere here about a bluetooth transmitter that plugs into an output jack. I don't remember which Garmins have output jacks. |

I think the bluetooth is just to hear with and sync music, etc. I don't think there is anything that will allow complete bluetooth connectivity between your bike and a cellphone. If I understand correctly, you would have to use one of the helmet systems like Scala or something, but that would defeat the usage of the bike's capabilities.
I am still waiting for J&M to come out with a dongle to allow my cellphone to tie in with the Vision system. |
