Posts: 3006 San Antonio, TX | I found this spring today between the left gas tank and the fairing.
As I was backing out I looked into the space between the glove box and the Triple Tree. I saw this spring on top of the left fuel cell were the wire bundles are located.
What is it and where does it go?
I just had some of the front of the Vision replaced during a recent repair. This part my have come with the replacement part or it could have been accidentally omitted.
The I.D. of the spring is about 5/8's of an inch.

Posts: 14 Dublin, Ohio | I looked through the service manual and there are 2 springs that look like that on either side of a long bar that is part of the windshield motor mount. Maybe it's one of those? |

If it is something that can be seen under the "Access V" please take a picture of it so I see if it is missing on my Vision.
Thanks!

come on, take a video of it while you're trying to get it on... just don't shoot your eye out. I hate to know you lost your vision to your, uh, Vision. |
