Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | I did time in Palm Springs..
Not a golfer, nor a bar hopper. Watched a trailer flip over right in front of me while riding in the wind.
I was glad to get out of there.
Would be glad to meet around Banning for a ride around Big Bear or Borrego if you want. |

Posts: 231 Desert Hot Springs (Palm Springs area), CA | Nozzledog - I'd love to ride with you. I've appreciated reading you posts and other Ness owners. I've learned a lot lurking here and hope to contribute back. I picked the bike up in Harbor City and on the ride home (via Route 60) I stopped and got some food. When I was coming back to the bike a fellow, after exiting his truck, ran over to see the bike. "Can I take a picture?" Naturally I said, "sure!" |

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | BTW - the TW200 has always been one of my favorite bikes also. Very unconventional. I love the big rear tire on the front. It's been on my wish list for about 15 years now. I bought my Ness Vision @ NCY Motorsports in San Marcos, they had a TW200 sitting right across the isle from it. My salesman was sweating that I'd change my mind and get it instead. I told him that I'd be back to get that one later. |

Posts: 112 Denver, Iowa | I think the '09 Ness Vision is one of the most gorgeous looking bikes out there. Bike #93 sat on the showroom floor for well over a year. As soon as I saw it, I had to buy it. There were a couple of these at the Victory Rally in Spirit Lake last year. You won't believe how many people will go out of there way to take a look at the bike, while your filling up at the station. I get many "thumbs up" cruising down the highway, too. Enjoy the ride.

Posts: 231 Desert Hot Springs (Palm Springs area), CA | Is there a list on the web that "locates" where the Ness Visions are? I've seen lists for guitars (another hobby of mine) where a particular custom model is listed starting from #1 to the end of the run. Owners then can have their names / handles put next to the number that they own. It would be interesting to see how scattered or bunched up the Ness Visions are in locations.
Thanks fellow Visionaries for your kind words about my new ride. I'm hoping to go to Arizona for the rally in August... any one want to meetup and ride in from So. Cal? |
