Posts: 262 Flowery Branch Ga | I was told that it was not only safe to un-hook the O2 sensors but that my bike would run better with them unhooked. Has anyone ever tried this or heard of dueing this? I have a 10 Vision 8Ball.

Posts: 244 Fargo, ND | Unless you have added a fuel controller, I would not recommend disconnecting the sensors. The ECU needs the input from the sensors in order to correctly adjust the air/fuel mixture. By disconnecting them, you can potentially cause an over-rich or over-lean condition. Over-rich will cause excessive soot and carbon buildup, over-lean can possibly cause severe engine damage. Not worth it in my opinion. |
