Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | If your interested in adding Speedbleeders to your Vision you'll want part # SB8125. I haven't got to the bleed screw for the hydraulic clutch yet but it may be the same. If you haven't used these before a & you do your own maintenance it makes changing brake fluid so easy a drunk could do it. They make stainless steel ones if you want to match a chrome caliper and for me they've become an essential upgrade on my vehicles. Brian

Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | The SB8125 fit our Visions ( 8mm X 1.25mm) and cost $7 each-$15 for the stainless steel ones- it takes 5, two each for the front calipers and one for the rear caliper-I got 6 (three sets) in hopes the left over one will replace the hydraulic clutch bleed screw.

Was the clutch bleeder the same size? It appears to be smaller. I have speed bleeders on my other bike and they sure make the bleeding chore easy.

Posts: 482 Beer Collins, Colorado (there is no fort) | Update: got the exact replacement speedbleeders installed, SB8125, & replaced front, rear, & clutch fluid with Motul 5.1 synthetic brake fluid. Rear system's fluid was much darker than the front? The hydraulic clutch bleed screw is 4m x .75 and there is not a speedbleeder screw that small but it's not necessary-everything's within easy reach. The shop manual has two different fluid replacement schedules Maintenance Chart 2.5 says 2 years or 30,000 miles. Brake section 5.2 says 2 years or 12,500 miles- or when discolored which my rear brake fluid was. Brian |

au contraire mon frere- Speed Bleeders is a registered trademark since 1996 (the patent expired in 2008) Russel, Goodrich, etc. are merely middle men marking up and passing these on. Get 'em at the source-I know you won't be gettin' 'em for $7 each at the Vic shop-Brian
Edit- I've been looking and trying to figure out who in fact did invent these and I'm more confused than ever- I did find these at Jegs- 2 for $10, and they are Russel Speed Bleeders- at any rate they sure make it easy to change fluids. Brian
