| This has probably been covered already but I need to ask.
I ride an 08 Vision and had a 2nd generation iPod hooked up until last summer when I fried during a super wet weekend ride. This Christmas my wife bought me a rebuilt generation 5 iPod (from Apple) and I can't get it to play on the bike. I do have the little adapter for the plug in that I needed to get my gen 2 iPod to charge so that shouldn't be the problem.
My question; Do I need to have the bike reflashed to accept the new gen 5 iPod? |

If the SW is less than 5.12 you need a flash. My original code was 4.11 and it had issues.
