Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Thanks for asking Im about 90% back the leg still has muscle memory to re-learn but im told that just takes time. At least no more pain
it just feels like i need a couple seconds once i go from sitting to standing before forward movement. Like i have told everyone i dont notice
daily improvement but i do notice weekly progress. The break is totally healed, what I am going through now is all of the severed nerves that they had to cut through on my leg to actually get to the bone to repair. FYI nerve tissue grows 1mm per day........ ugh... Im not complaining, the alternative could have been much much worse. Rode the bike for the first time last weekend. I needed an alone mental ride just to get back into
my minds "safe zone".
The custom paint was all replaced from the bike driving itself across the 30 foot grass/ditch median before it stopped. (dont get me started on why
the 08 Visions didnt have an engine kill switch once its dropped. The thought that my bike driving itself into oncoming traffic and potentially killing someone just angers me. The custom paint was the 2010 limited edition paint scheme from Victory.
The chrome passenger rails as many of you know, I do them. Many of you got them from me.
Thanks for the support and endulgence of my photo album. Its funny how we can all stare at our own bikes photos over and over......LOL
Posted also so that Mr. Wizard could see his tips on my bike !

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Thanks guys for all the support. To answer some of your questions
!. The paint is not sticker/vinyl. Each model year Victory chooses two different bikes to offer limited edition custom painted skins. What you see on
my bike are the skins for the 2010 Vision year. They are no longer available which is why it took F O R E V E R to get them. Between my insurance
company, my dealer, another dealer up in PA, and many many calls, Victory had to reinlist the help of the paint company to do me a special set to
replace the ones damaged. It took from last November until 3 weeks ago to get them. Victory ships the black skins to the paintshop and they custom
paint, then re ship to Victory who then re-ships to the dealer blah blah blah.... These actually took about the same time as the original ones did.
The paint job is amazing, all done by hand. No pre-fab overlay and sprayed with sealant.
2. For anyone who likes this paint scheme, I do happen to know where there is a set for sale brand new in the Vision Red color. (the paint scheme would
then be silver trimmed in black where mine on the black bike is silver trimmed in red). Bring your wallet, this is not a cheap paint.
3. You asked where you could see the options, well, there really arent any. You can try to find them if anyone has last years collection catalog where
you will see my paint scheme on a Vision in the photo. The only options are black bike color scheme or red bike color scheme.
Finally. While I was in the hospital, Victory sent me the following items. In no particular order as i dont remember since i was drugged beyond humanity.
1. flowers
2. 100.00 accessory gift card
3. Pull over 2011 Victory Hoodie
4. Bike cleaning kit with the new2011 remote tire pressure monitor sensor.

Posts: 1158 Richmond, Virginia | Oh, that's an easy answer. Victory likes some of us better then others............ the trick is learning who they like and dislike, then talk act think smell and bitch like them. you'll get your crystal Victory Chess set in no time.......... |
