Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | I went to a bike blessing at a local Harley Dealer and there was a good turn out. There was this one young fellow, about 11 or 12 walked over to me as I was leaving and said he liked my bike. He said it looked like a jet ski and it caught his eye. I said, "well, Victory is part of..." "Polaris, I know" he said finishing my sentence for me. He thought it was a cool bike and he really liked.
One the way home I was skiing along and was on 288 south riding hard and I could see a harley behind me trying to catch up. I finally throttled off some and he got up close to me until we got to the Rt 1 exit off of 288 and scrolled through the ramp twisties like a Sunday ride and lost him in the wake. (it is a jet ski afterall) He caught up to me in a couple of traffic lights and he says "you ride that thing like you stole it" grinning from ear to ear. I said "how do know I didn't?" we both got a laugh out of it and when on our merry ways.
A good day to ride... | |

I have only had my bike for a few weeks and the kids in the neighborhood really like. They say things like, man that looks like a crotch rocket but way cooler and wow that's the coolist motorcycle I've ever seen and one kid asked if it was a Harley and that my dad has a Harley. I blew his mind when I told him what it was, who made it and what company owned Victory and the fact that Harley wasn't the only American made bike. I told him to go home and ask his dad if he knew about The New American Motorcycle, Victory!
So, I'm sure his dad hates me know. Let me see, do I care? Uhh........ Nope.
