Does anyone have the Platinum Jacket and Pants on the Victory website? I am probably making a mistake trying to buy one outfit to cover all the weather that Ma Nature likes to throw at us but I would like to get a textile style jacket and have a rainsuit both. I have a heavy leather jacket that I have rode with for years and just sucked up the rain or put on one of the rainsuits and sweated almost as much as the rain would of gotten me wet. Looking for the best of both worlds. Any inputs on what the rest of you are wearing when the weather goes bad is appreciated.

Retired all my leather, went with teknic armored jacket and overpants, lighter, warmer and with great protection.
freeway overpants and mach 1 three quarter jacket. This gear is also waterproof. I leave for
florida wednsday with 1300 miles i wanted as much protection as possible, Thought this
would be a good excuse for a major upgrade.

I wear ballistic armor also and looked at the Victory Platinum at my dealership. The jacket is really nice but I don't think it will vent well enough for warm riding. The real deal-breaker for me was that the pants were not adjustable in the waist. No elastic, no way to cinch them tighter or let them out. However they fit when you zip and snap, that's how they'll fit. The Platinum jacket and pants look great, just not as well thought out as other stuff that's out there (especially for the money).

Try them on before you buy.

I wear Joe Rocket Ballistic 7 pants. very water resistant without liner and waterproof with zipout liner in place.very adjustable waist CE armor on hips and knees...
I wear the Joe Rocket Phoenix 4.0 which takes me down to about 30 degress with liner and sweatshirt. when liner is zipped out it is great up to about 80-85 degrees, once it hits that temp there aint nothing that offers protection that doesnt make you roast...

I still wear leather.......which reminds me of a joke.

Do you know why men get excited when they are near women in leather?
Because they smell like a new truck!
