Posts: 277 Apopka, FL | I just installed my lowers after painting them to "match" the Blue Ice I own. I used Duplicolor Light Blue Metallic BGM0539 + Rustoleum Clear Gloss for almost a perfect match. The metal flake is smaller than the Victory paint, but you have to be pretty close to notice. I have included 2 photos; one with and one without flash for comparison. This is supposed to be GM match paint.

Posts: 277 Apopka, FL | Not bad for spray paint I figure! I didn't like the stock black Victory provides. |

Posts: 204 guelph ontario | The stock Vic ones I got were clear-had them painted black to match-they disappeared right into the bike-yours would look good painted to match the blue. |

| I'm sure your head is pounding on what ells you can paint. Or maybe your going to open your own custom paint shop.
Good looks way to go. |

| I still can't figure out why they haven't incorporated that in to the overall design of the outer fairing? The lowers work so well, but they look soo much like a correction to a design flaw. |

Posts: 277 Apopka, FL | Here's a little advice from Cyclops, Will Molino... of course, I failed to ask for his advice PRIOR to mounting these...
"if you want to closer match the flake Duplicolor also offers a metalflake clear that should do the trick. If you do use it, a very light coat will match, and I mean light as it's got a lot of flake in it. After hit it with a coat or two of the regular clear and you'll be very happy with the final match. They do look damn good matchwise Mark, so I wouldn't worry either, just thought you'd like to know it could be tweaked if you wanted to."
So, if any want to copy my ideas and paint selection, you may want a little more metalflake as Will suggested. |

I just took my bike to Advanced Auto, told the AA guy I was taking 3-4 cans outside to match up my bike. Picked the one closest and BAM! Happened to be lucky. Try it, you can always repaint them black or have them chromed. |

| FYI, you can also order the paint directly from your dealer, which will be an exact match. They have both touch up and spray can sizes for about $10. This used to NOT be the case, but I recently bought both for my Ice Blue Vision. All other colors are available as well. |

| I have the silver and black 2011 vision. I dropped the bike in gravel and put a few small sratches in the right side mirror housing. Does anyone know the correct color # to match the silver? Your help is really appreciated |

| The Vogue Silver from Pure Polaris is P354 Vogue Silver..... .6Fl.Oz. bottle..Think it cost me about $9...Matched pretty damn close on top of my saddle bag where I used it to cover a chip...Followed it up with a light touch of clear coat spray, purchased at an Autoparts store, applied with a Q-Tip and it looks like new....... |
