Okay, who of you Vision riders are going to Daytona bike week? Well, if you are then how about giving us some feed back of the days events, like how many Visions you see, any Victory get togethers, and pictures, lots of pictures of Visions tucked in and around all those Harleys!

I am going and will have my laptop to post with. VOG is having a lunch Wed. @ Volusia Motorsports and I plan on being there. Victory bike show after lunch @ 1PM. Plan on having Liandra parked on Main St. both weekends sitting there watching the parade of bikes and people.

Last year when I was down I saw maybe 8-10 Visions in and around town. One down at the drag races in Orlando. There will be more each year now.........people will find out about the comfort and performance AND with aftermarket pipes the nice sound. Sound means alot down at Daytona.......

I'll be going on the 10th and returning the next day. I hope to have Lloyd dyno tune my bike on Thursday. Friday is the Kilts N Colors ride. I was going to ride in a kilt untill I found out how much a men's skirt cost. I should have bought it before I did my taxes.

Mark,

I would plan on $50-$100 and more towards the $50 mark. Since all you are doing is a few pulls and no tuning, anything more would be highway robbery. If you go to the fairgrounds / swap meet by the cabbage patch, there are other dynos there for the $50 range. Lloyd Greer will have his dyno down there http://www.daytonafleamarket.com/contact.cfm/mode/directions. If you are interested in just knowing your numbers, I would take it to him. If you are looking to show up some HOGs, take it to WyoTech.

You are talking 5-10 minutes of time total.

THANKS Scorebo. I am looking to get it tuned. I am running the K&N air filter, Loyds air intake plate, Thrush mufflers and PC V. There is no setting for the Thrush mufflers in the PC V.

MARK - Remember Lloyd will have his dyno at Daytona and will be doing dyno tuning. I think he'll be doing cam installs as well since Adam is with him.

He will be at the Daytona Flea Market, Tomoka Farms Rd. and Bellevue Ave, Daytona Beach

Got here with Turbobuick about 3. We split up at the highway exit. I went directly to Lloyd. He dyno tuned my bike and adjusted the fuel controler. Just short of 92 hp and 112 ft pounds of torque. I took video with iPhone, but it won't post to YouTube.

Just got home ( Thursday 3/10/11 ) Had a great time in and around Daytona. Met Lloyd and Adam, had the cams installed and ended up with 115.5 HP @ 6000 rpm and 117.2 lbs of tq. @ 3600 rpm, held above 100 ft lbs from 2500 to 6000 rpm, great tuning from Lloyd. Had great time hanging with them too, really good guys.................

Sorry I can't take pictures while folks are taking pictures of me. Some while on Main St. some while in traffic, or stopped for gas.

Had a cute young lady talking with me about Liandra when a guy came up and ask her to move so he could get a picture. She got POed and I said no way first a picture of me and the lady with Liandra then he could have one of just Liandra.

One night a lady wanted her husband to take a picture of her with Liandra. I sitting on the bike with it on the center stand so she hopped on my lap hugged up close for him to get the picture.

David Shelleny from Victory posted pictures of Liandra and I on the Victory Facebook page last night. We were parked on Main St. across from Iron Gate Saloon watching the bikes ride by on Main.

This was when I wasn't busy telling people what I was riding and all about how great she preforms. Tuesday night a guy from the Travel Channel wanted to interview me, but the noise from the band across the street was to much.

Wednesday I rode with friends to watch the Space Shuttle Discovery land a very awsome sight. While on the way we stopped for a few minutes and I started cleaning Liandra up some. I told them I had to clean her up because Mama was coming home.

Yes I am having fun at Bike Week and it ain't over yet!!!!!!!!!

Got home from Daytona about 4:30 PM. I had Liandra on Main St. every night of Bike Week and got lots of complements and questions. I rode down and back on I-75 and did not see a motorcycle only check.

Daytona was a blast again, first time I rode the Vision. Last 5 of 7 years I rode my 2003 Road Glide ( I missed two events ). I hope in the future there will be more Victory vendors. Lloyd and Adam were great, it would be nice if other Victory after market companies were around. ( maybe cycle ops ) or other Victory part producers. One thing, I did see ten other Visions while I was down there and a 116" Hammer that had 133 HP, that was cool.......

CW, WHAT PIPES ARE YOU RUNNING? WHAT RESULTS DID YOU GET? I HAD MINE CHECKED IN DAYTONA. BUT NOT BY LLOYDZ. AND THEY SAID 86 HP AND 100 FT. LB. TORQUE AT THE REAR WHEEL. ALSO A LITTLE RICH AT START UP IDLE BUT THEN IT IS RIGHT WHERE IT SHOULD BE. THAT IS WITH THRUSH EXHAUST w/ RESONATOR TIPS, PCV, Lloydz INTAKE PLATE & K&N FILTER. BY THE WAY, THRUSH IS NOT AS LOUD AS I HOPED.

I've been trying to find the results for the Wyotech Brute horsepower Shootout for this year ( 2011 ), but can't find a website. When I left Wyotech on Tuesday afternoon my 106" Vision was in first place in the 99.1 to 123 cu in domestic class. I pulled 113.55 HP and was wondering where I finished, anyone know of the results ??? The night before it made 115.5 HP on Lloydz dyno but the air temp was about 20F cooler then............

I had my '08 SSG with S1L1 w/ Gatlin Tips upgraded in October 2010 with Lloydz: VM1-Cams, VFC-III, Fuel Intake plate, IAV. I had a DYNOJET performance evaluation run on her before and after.

Before: 81.2 Max HP at the rear wheel; 97.7 Max Torque
After: 102.3 Max HP at the rear wheel; 101.73 Max Torque

Grant it, it's no 113 - 115 HP (impressive, by the way) but not bad. I love having the 20 extra horses and an improved torque!!!

Mark, After dialing in the VFC it ran 91 point something HP and 111 point something foot pounds of torque. I'll scan the printout tomorrow. That's just what lloyd said it should run before the dyno pull. Running stock map with the Lloysz VFC, Lloyds intake plate and the Ness Big Honkers. Not sure what air filter it has in it. Plan on changing plugs and checking filter this weekend.

I have to confirm my torque. I was sure it was almost 112, but looking at other posts that seems high without cams. I'll confirm tomorrow and scan printout.

OK, just checked. Exact numbers were 91.46 HP and 111.25 torque. The first printout was Lloyd checking my fuel air mixture. He said the VFC was turned all the way down and was as good as OFF. Bike was running lean. Don't have a power pull before he started making adjustments. Second is the power pull after he was done.
