Fountain Inn, SC United States | Does anyone know the latest Radio software and hardware versions?
I checked mine (2010 Vision) and they were SW:7.05A, HW:2, Boot Ver:7.00A

That's what I'm trying to ascertain. Some of the changes are significant, others not so. With the later versions, the reception was better and the radio interfaced better with outboard gear (ipod,CB, GPS) over early versions. Later versions also fixed little switching anomalies.
My current version (see first post) doesn't charge an iphone and I get a message on the phone saying something like it isn't a compatible device but still plays tunes. Someone on this board said a later software version would fix this. So I'm trying to find out the latest versions out there. Still too much snow and sand to get the bike to the dealer to find out if there's a newer version, hence this thread. |

Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Do any of the versions charge an Iphone? Mine works on an Ipod fine, but I don't have an Iphone. I charge my droid with a USB cable into the 12V plug. |

What does that mean? BTW I have an 09 Vision. Also, My location was set to (VIN) and I just changed it to North America. Hope it still works. |

Ruskin, Fl | My 2008 is Radio 5.21A BB 5.14A, 4. I just paid $90 to have my radio updated. My iphone 4 kinda works now instead of not at all. Dealer said radio update was only thing available. I wasn't too happy about paying $90 to begin with, but the $4.50 shop supply and haz-mat waste disposal fee made me see red. |
