Posts: 48 Oakdale MN | I have Ness pipes on now,bike is cammed and ECU upgraded by Llyodz. Here is the question which sounds better/Beefier ?? For sitting at idle, normal driving, hiway speeds, and heavy throttle acceleration. |

Posts: 156 dinwiddie, va | I have installed a set of thrush pipes but have Honkers on my bike. If you are looking for the beefier sound, It's the Honkers. Thrush setup sounds good but a little more tamed and subtle. If anyone has more experience with the Thrush, chime in. I'm sure tone changes as they break in, I have only heard them when brand new |

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Thrushes are deep, but not loud. I have not noticed a difference in 5000 miles. The main factor I see, is what kinda tips you want. Thrush will take any generic aftermarket tip. I'm running an LED lit up afterburner type. The honkers will take the 'made for Vision' tips only. |
