What year model Vision do you have? If 2008 or 2009 check out the thread below for an alternate antenna. I installed one I bought at Pep Boys that looks the same.

I am going to order a 'Tune Trapper ' today. $34 shipped on ebay. Will post when I get it installed.

My Tune Trapper results:
With the stock antenna I could pick up 21 stations 5x5(loud and clear) and 15 fairly well from my garage.
With the Tune Trapper I could pick up 26 stations 5x5 and 11 fairly well. A gain of 1.
AM is awful on both, The gain in clarity on FM was how much I lost in AM.
Weather Band stayed the same, Only one faint station.
The drive test found that my standard channels faded out at the same locations.
If you buy one, the 2ft cord is very tight, severely limiting your placement.

Has anyone tried mounting the fm antenna on the trunk?

I was at auto zone the other day and they had this cheap rubber antenna that was 14 inches long and flexible. So I have been thinking about buying it and put under the rear panel where the trunk would mount. I know it would fit and it was only $19.95.
Street rodders have been using hidden antennas for ever and they have music.
I have a biketronics antenna now and its ok but I do wounder if I can do better. What I have now is a BT 87 and I can get a good 25 miles out of the city and hear what I want to. The rubber one is a BT 89. These guys a good guys and stand behind there stuff.
