41 degrees when I started in Tucson. Low of 39 degrees in Salt River Canyon. Lots of snow still in Payson and on the rim. Mostly high 40's and mid 50's in to Camp Verde. Back down in to the valley hit 80 degrees in Phoenix. Mid 70's in Tucson. Home sweet home.

Agreed, I would have headed that way given time. I wanted to sleep back in my own bed with my wife. This was a clear my head ride. We intend to ride southern CO and UT this spring.
The only time I was in any kind of traffic was in the predictable areas on 17 and 10. Other than that no LEO's or many other vehicles. Average speed on GPS for entire trip was 68 mph. |
