Posts: 548 Mount Vernon, WA United States | I have it under good authority that very shortly (days) an update will be available to the dealers that will enable them to fix most if not all of the iPod and any other Radio related quirks on the Vision.
This update will be built right into the dealers Digital Wrench software, so stay tuned.

Posts: 332 Dale, Indiana | CB/Intercom added last week. So far works great!
Drivers say I sound great even at 70MPH.
Now if I can just figure out how to change CB channels.... guess I'll have to read the book.
iPod next to try.

Posts: 296 Central Florida | got my recall(ignition switch) and Ipod fix(audiofirmware ver 4.13)
done today. Ipod works flawlessly now and so does ignition switch.
I did have to explain to service writer how to do the update though and they did think I was paying for it. I explained nicely that it is a free update and if you want money for it get it from Victory. Victory told them if they called back after the flash update they would pay them 0.5 hrs labor for the job. basically plug it in to computer outlet(left saddlebag) and walk away. press a button and then walk away. unplug it and it is done... |

| Hi Marc, Does the stereo play any louder or clearer with the new flash? Will the new flash fix the hard drive iPOD burn out issue? Thanks, Tim

Stereo "seems" to be louder and clearer but I had no complaints about J&M front speakers anyway.
re Hard drive burn out issue, NO MC company recommends a HD IPOD on any of their bikes.
It is just excess vibration that does that. I dont think anything can fix that.
The only unit that it will have any effect on is the Nano Gen 3. It no longer freezes when you mute
or do anything else to any control. starts right back where you left it... |

Posts: 548 Mount Vernon, WA United States | I got an update today that based on issues people have posted in forums, they are doing a little more testing. It's still going to be released shortly to the dealers, but I found it very encouraging that they actually read these forums. This update flash may not fix all the issues, but I have been assured it addresses many of the concerns people have posted about.

Posts: 143 Birmingham, AL 08 MC Tour Premium 2012 Bronze Mist | I've been trying to get Victory's attention since the day I installed my IC/CB about the lack of volume particularly on the CB (about 5 months) local dealer has been no help (we'll check on it and call you). Maybe this update will help. I don't claim to understand all things electrical but I'm a little skeptical that this (software??) update will fix low volume. Hoping to be proved wrong!!
