If I bring my Vision to a dealer to replace brake pads, do the wheels have to be removed to accomplish this?

Thanks.

No, but the back is a royal pain in the ass with the bike on the ground. The front are very easy sitting on the ground next to the bike.

Front and rear brake pads are very easy to change. No special tools required, wheels don't come off. A lift is good to have when doing the job. I'd be interested in what a dealer quotes to change fronts and back, anybody know?

I changed just my pads without lifting the bike. I probably didn't clean the back one as good as the front but no problems so far. My original pads would squeak and that drives me nuts.

I'm very pleased how easy it is to change the pads both front and rear. Best thing to do though, is to read the manual and follow along to make sure you're doing things right.

This is funny. Flat rate manual from Victory is 18 minutes for the rear. I can do the rear pads on the ground in about 3 min of me being on the ground. It is very easy. I hate to even charge for the job. Learn to change them your self. I have some tools I like to use.

A punch
hammer
needle nose pliers
flat head screw driver
channel lock pliers(to reinstall pad pin)

Yeah, don't do what I did. I manged somehow to get the rear caliper off and was unable to put it back together. I THAN read the manual as saw in bold letters "do not remove caliper". I had to take the back wheel off to reassemble it.

Slam dunk job. I did my front in about 20 minutes.... 15 for the first one and 5 for the second.... Never pay for that work again.

Are there any pictures of how to change your brake pads front and back?
