Low cost chroming but lower quality? Show quality chroming at top dollar? This time of year all chromers are buried in work. You may wait months for your parts. If I was thinking of doing it would spend the summer talking with other bikers that had chroming done and see what the cost and quality is for different places. Then I would hold off till right after riding season to start sending parts out. I had Advanced Plating in Nashville chrome my '03 intake I modified. It's plastic and came out really nice but the chroming cost $125 for that one little piece. They chromed the bumpers on my '60 Ranchero and they are beautiful and cost $425 a piece. The Vic shop in Salt lake City used to do chrome swapping. It would cost less, and be a better product. And even with their backload of work, you would most likely get it sooner!!! I have had parts on order since November. Also, many that did show up were damaged in transit because Victory cannot seem to figure out how to pack them!----Metalguy
