| I'm trying to do a self-install of the Garmin 660 and want to do a plug n play installation. Can anyone tell me who manufactures the interface connector that connects the GPS to the main harness and where I can buy it? I know the larger connectors are Delphi and available from Mouser, but I haven't found anything about the smaller connectors. |

| I don't think it is quite the one. The connector I'm looking for is a 5 position connector. I'll have to look through the AMP listings and see if there is a comparable 5 pin connector.
Thanks for the input! |

Posts: 15 Nashville | Wdunham, I have the same dilemma. I am trying to install my own GPS, but my connector is a 5 pin as well. You must have a '10 or '11 Vision. Please let us know if you find it out. I might contact the Tyco and see if they could give me a reference number for that part....

| Yes mine is a '11 Vision. The larger connectors are Delphi, but I haven't been able to find the smaller ones. I talked to someone from EdSets and he suggested they were propriatary, but I can't see someone like Polaris paying for all the engineering that would have to go into a simple connector while there are so many to choose from. Hopefully someone will be able to "break the code" for the benefit of us all. I could change the connector on the bike, but I prefer not to avoid any possible warranty issues. |
