I installed the IAC valve and started at 4 turns out and have gone in by 1/4 turns to decrease the popping.

I am now at 3 turns out and the popping has decreased and the idle is stable on a cold start but how far do I keep turning it in ?

Do I continue until the idle starts to get bad or ??

I emailed Lloyd over a week ago but did not get any answer.

Thanks !

Tom

The valve has REALLY cut down on the 1-2 & 2-3 shift popping. It's gone for the most part. I just get a random one once in awhile.

So far it is worth the price to me. I'm just wondering how far to keep going.

Each bike is a little different. I had mine close but had Lloyd fine tune it last summer. What I had been messing with for a couple of weeks he took care of in about two minutes.
I still get some popping, especially when riding hard.
Still need to let it warm up a little before riding but having no throttle lag all day is great.
