So are Vision Riders on this forum above fifty or below? Just thought because the average age of a H-D rider is well over 40 last I heard.

Bought a Harley Road King when I turned 30, my Victory Vision for my 43rd.
It will be hard to compare bcause Victory wasn't around when many got to that point in life, so a lot of older rider are stuck in Harley mode.

Just started adding all the e-mails up to figure out the average. My TI gave me shit AND PISSED ME OFF, MAYBE A REASON. To be honest, I really don't give a crap. I hope we all ride as hard as we can, as fast as we can, and - no matter the age!! I did learn some have the same hip problems I have. Lord let us all ride on. I think all that follow this posting are true and blue from 16 to ???. Even if we "younger"/ "older" folks do not feel this way. As an x_Rodeo Cowboy I will not give, on any account, I just hate it when my hips lock up. Cowboy Up and deal with it. Just so you all know, I just heard Marshall Tucker, Fire on the Mountain", made me know he is waiting for us all...

Ride hard, ride fast, but above all - ride safe.....

will be turning 45 in May........... been riding on the street for 24 years and up until then I rode in the dirt since I was 9. I am a firm believer of someone learning to ride in the dirt before riding on the street, it gives you the experience to deal with loose surfaces such as gravel and dealing with such situations as a rear wheel slide...........I've been known by my riding partners to roll hard on the throttle when going through corners on gravel roads so as to kick the rear end out, if you haven't ever done it before, DON'T try it now, but it sure is a hoot to hear the gravel fly, feel the bike getting sideways and then shoot out onto the straight like an arrow..............hehehe

Young and/or experienced we all are riders, Thank God we all have the balls to ride Victory Bikes. Glad to see the cross sectional age picture. Really cool for me as I am the median age!

Ride hard, ride fast, but above all - ride safe....

I'm 48 and have had my 2008 VV since sept 08. And as I look out the window at a couple of feet of snow. It may be a couple or 3 more months before I put the sled to bed and release the Vision for another season of fun Victory style!

For all the years I have been biking - I was always asked at work: "You must save a LOT of money on gas, driving the bike to work?"

And of course the answer has ALWAYS been:

"You GOT to be kidding? In the car? Straight to work - straight home. On the bike - longest possible ride BOTH ways - and some days don't get home at all" Bike cost 10X more in gas than the car!

52 years of riding!

54 years. Have had bikes since I began riding when I was 12. Just got a 2011 Cory Ness Cross Country #80. Dealer has been putting on some extra goodies and I get to bring the bad boy home this week. WoooHooo. Now I need some warm weather.

No crisis necessary. The kids grew up and moved out, I thought I could spend money on what I wanted. My wife didn't disagree. Besides, we are younger than the GoldWing group aren't we?
