Posts: 492 Indianapolis, IN | I "rode in" the New Year with a 55 mile ride this evening around Indianapolis. It was 32f when I left and arived in the driveway on return with a temp of 29. I loved every mile and every rubber neck look I got while riding the interstate. Happy New Year all!! |

Posts: 1632 Jasper, MO | We got in a 177 mile ride for NYD, with a starting temperature of 19 degrees and an ending temperature of 31, with a stop near the halfway point for lunch. You're right, the smile is stuck. Happy New Year everybody.

Posts: 103 Davenport, IA | Dito also! In North Western Kentucky, rode 115 miles round trip at 39 degrees to break in the "New Year". The Vision performed flawlessly. Grins as usual when I returned home! Boy, it sure makes life easier when the wife see's me with a smile....... |

We broke our bikes out of the garage and took them on a quick 40 mile ride yesterday so we can say we rode on the first day of the new year.. It was a clear sunny day with temps in the 20's but with wind chill had to be in the single digits. |

Posts: 363 Goldsboro, NC | I got my ride in, as well. Found a back country driving range that happened to be open and got a medium bucket. Had to use a loaner driver. Wouldn't you know.... I caved the club face in! I got a ride and a serious loin-girding memory all in one day! |

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | I got my new years eve and new years day ride in after being down the month of december. I didn't do any good long rides as planned, but did burn a few miles none the less. The rest of the day was spent caging to Williamsburg with the honey bunny. |

Posts: 82 Fargo, ND | I'm happy for all you guys that were able to ride on New years eve and New years day. As for me... well they closed the interstates at about 4 pm on New years eve and kept them closed until 6pm New Years day. We had a white out blizzard and the wind chill was about - 28 degrees. Why I live in Fargo ND I still fail to understand. Retirement in a few more years then it's off to the southern states for the winter and return when the sand from the dump trucks is brushed up off of the roads in May. Ride safe my Brothers.
