Posts: 2118 Pitt Meadows, BC Canada | Kevin, in the Northwest, we keep our snow where is doesn't affect our riding - on the mountain tops. In this picture taken east of downtown Vancouver looking north - that's Grouse Mountain above the VV Trunk. The Lions are above the handlebar area, and our home is on the mountainside above and to the left of my Co-Pilot. That's Cypress Mountain, where some of the Olympic events were last February. Temperature today was 6C (about 42F) - but the snowline shows where freezing is - maybe 1500 feet. Beautiful day for a ride - with electric vests and heaters on.
