| So sorry to see you deep in snow and not being able to ride. I am sure you never laugh at us here in snow country or even snicker cause you could ride and we could only remember what riding was.
I am truly sorry you can't ride |

Posts: 1359 New Bohemia, Va | I've been down since the first part of December because of the exhaust leak. But during that time I've traveled and we have had some fairly nasty days but not as bad as we have now. I've probably lost all in all about a weeks worth of ridable days since then. I hope to have my exhaust fixed by New Years day so I can ride, if the weather holds out. I've been holding up fairly well, but it is hard to say what I'll do when I hit the road again. I may need to take a few days off to reset myself to normal riding.
I do feel for you northerners and just don't know how I would handle not being able to ride for months at a time. |

| Well since my cancer treatment last winter my hands and feet get real cold in the cold weather so that is another I haven't rode much. I do make up for it. I have a 13 year old Troy-Bilt snowthrower with cab that everyone in the neighborhood stops and watches as I go by. This blizzard lots of high wind gusts. I even saw one guy with his snowmobile helmet and ski goggles on. Sure I got some snow on me but nothing bad. 26" cut with an 8HP and nothing stands in my way. One blizzard I was clearing my way to do my Mom's property and I heard someone yelling. I stopped and I had buried a neighbor and his snowthrower in his driveway. He came over and said he has sorry even since for not spending the money and buying a machine with more power. Dang, sounds like what I hear when I stop for gas on my Vision. |

Fountain Inn, SC United States | I had planned leaving this past Sunday and bringing the Vision to FL for this week from MA but had to cancel. I would have been traveling through the belly of that storm and through each of the states that got hit hard. Now I'm sitting at home in a snowdrift for the week.
I envy you southern & southwest folks. |

Posts: 284 mansfield, MA United States | A funny story. Every morning I stop at the Starbucks in Plymouth Ma for coffee. When I stopped this morning there was a guy sitting drinking his coffee. He said he had to stay to see if I was riding today. I told him I didn't even think about taking the bike today. But I will tomorrow!

Posts: 1117 Northeast Ohio | While it isn't a Sportsman (I got it for $3K), it does clear the driveway in 5 minutes flat and I have fun doing it. I put a 42" blade on it this year so I could do the sidewalks easier. This pic has the 50" on it.
I even did the street a few times. I am done muscling a snow blower.
