Got a question for those of you with GPS.

How accurate is the Vision speedometer?

On some other bikes, the speedo registers about 5 mph faster than actual speed.

What's your experience with the Vision?

My Vision reads about 1 mph off from the GPS reading and is consistent across the entire range.

My Suzuki has roughly a 10% error across the entire scale.

I must be lucky again but my speedo is within 1 mph of the GPS throughout the speed range.

Mine also is within about 2MPH of the GPS reading. MUCH better than my old Honda, I had to put a larger tire on the front to make it even close! LOL!-----Metalguy

I'm with Banjo on this one, GPs reads 72, speedo, 76-78. Feels like I'm rollin'! At 55 spot on and lower, but once over that the accuracy starts to expand. My GMC truck is spot on with the GPS, upwards of 80, so I'm thinkin' the GPS is right. Once again wonder why it is so hard to get it right.

Mine is dead on the GPS (ZUMO 550) through 60 MPH then the the speedo starts falling off.....70 on the GPS is 68 on the speedo and the difference increases as the speed increases.

Speeedo will vary depending on tire wear. I always drive 10 mph over limit just in case.... (16 km over for you fellow Kanuckleheads)

2000 miles in 3 days and 1mph off. I was curious and tested the gps and the speedo with the mile markers. Gps was dead on the entire time.

120 on the speedo, limiter kicks in, 119 on GPS.
JAM can verify the 119!

here is something i noticed the other day. while my speedo is off according to my gps.. my gps was off according to them Speed check signs on the side of the road. The ones that let you know you are going to fast on that road.. But i failed to see how far off my speed was from the sign... i was more interested at that point in the gps Vs the sign. Too be honest i never fully trusted a gps's speedo reading as my max speed on my gps says 212mpg.. Now come on!....... Really? did i feel my tank with pure Seafoam or something? lol
