Mods- I put this here, not sure where it might have fit;

For anyone who has electronics equipment or service access. It has an error code on it. $ 135 just for the store to look at it- the camera is only $250 new- so off it goes.

I have the manual and some accesories I will add in the box.

Please only join this if you think you can fix/repair it and use it.

Thanks

Jeff

If the error is related to the tape mechanism, maybe you can use it with a memory card mode with a memory stick.

But in my honest opinion, buy a new High Definition video recorder.

My wife is genetically predisposed for only spending money on clothes and shoes. She did not under stand what the HDTV big deal was. Finally we went to a friends house to watch a San Antonio Spurs game back in 2006 that had HD and a regular TV. After walking back and forth and looking as the same game she under stood.

In 2008 we needed a new camcorder for a trip to Alaska and picked up a Sony HD that has no Hard Drive (flash memory only). This works better for me. No Hard drive to fail and less moving parts. Later on I will make a mount for it on the Vision. The video of Alaska trip and of a friends daughters wedding were nothing less then stunning.

I use it to make most of the current videos I post on Youtube.

I think it is 32 something- claims condensation/moisture. I tried all the self help tricks- no luck.
I already bought anew HD video cam ( Cano HF Vixia)- but wanted to get rid of this other than tossing it in the trash.

Again- free to good home
