| I have a 2010 Victory CC and am looking to increase the sound from my stock pipes. Have looked at several sites and the Atoms seem to have the best sound. From what I have heard about the stage 1 exhaust is sound not much different. I have passed the staight exhaust stage but would like more sound from my bike when riding down the road. Has anyone replaced their mufflers and what have you found out to be a good sound? |

Had the bike at the dealer a while back and the mechanic was asking about them after he took the bike for the after service test ride. Several of them commented that they sound better than the Victory product. They are nice and throaty and can be a bit aggressive if you want them to be. If not it is just sweet music to your ears. Final thought is the cost. Quite a bit less than some other products but means you have to dismount and mount them. Good luck. |

I even asked my wife if she would prefer the stock ones back on, but she likes the sound. The fact that they're half the price of the Vic pipes more than makes up for the 2 week turnaround to have them shipped off to get done. |

X 14" long ejector pin, sharpened the end to a point. Took the mufflers off and punched 5 holes in the outer area of the baffles from the front side. Doing the math this was 1.75 times the area of the rear outlet. I did not punch a hole dead center because the State Troopers and some of the local "want to be's" like to shove a wooden dowel up your tail pipes to see if your running baffles. This does not happen often but I run 80 mph on the freeway and did not want to open myself up to all the hassle. Bike sound at idle is just slightly above stock but has such a fine sound when rolling on the throttle - really nice when passing a H-D or a truck with H-D badges @ 80 mph. I will get my speakers hooked up on my computer so I can hear the Thrush/Cherry Bomb muffler change but I do like keeping the stock stuff. The other thing is that "Big Brother" will do is take out a extended mirror and see if you pipes have the "For Off Road Use Only" stamp on them. Not trying to make you all paranoid but this type of crap does happen, heard it first hand from a very high ranked trooper here in WI.

| I purchased a set of Arizona Slamers from Arizona Victory in Phoenix,Az. It is the best sonding pipes i have heard. I have a set of Cobras on my Honda VTX1300 and there is no comparison.
I have them on my 2009 Vision and it has a low rumble. I had the SL2 on it before and sounded like it was coming out of a tin can. You can heard the rumble as your ridding. Not like the old ones only when you jump on the trottle. |
