Posts: 307 Columbia, SC | Got the bike "torn apart" (it looks worse than it is, but wife thinks it's torn apart) and I FINALLY found the back plug (had to take off the backrest and some plastic, but I found it!!!) So I want to install it on the armrest for later when the wife and I get heated gear, but which side is best? I don't want to install it on the right and find out that most heated gear has plugs in the left arm or vice-versa! Is there a set standard or one that's more common than the other? Thanks! Doing good with the bike and working on some basic mods!

PS - I also found a few empty black plugs bundled together back there. Any idea what those are intended for? My initial thoughts would be for an easier install of the CB/Radio kit, but is there something else they would be for? Thanks. |

If I remember correctly (it's been three years since I installed my CB and powerlets) the other connections are for the CB, the CD player, and maybe the XM radio. I'm sure that if I am mistaken, someone here will correct me, though! |
