Posts: 164 Quad Cities, IL | No worries, it was a comfortable 34F in the Moline, IL on 10 Dec. I was able to get a good hour ride in on the ole Vision before the evening settled in and the wintery storms came rolling through and heavy salting starts. Nothing like being surrounded by a nice blanket of snow from a week ago while tooling along on clear roads. Despite my ride, I may not hate you but I am jealous. I'll roll her out any chance I get so long as the roads are dry and the salt is minimal. Ride on, Ride safe. |

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Pretty chilly in Simi Valley. Toured around Hemet, Ca. For 2 hrs. today and it hit 91?, then went out to LA where it dipped down to a brisk 64? @ 8pm.
It's nice being able to keep the blade windshield on all year long. |

| Cometman,
Did you by any chance ride down Las Posas Rd. coming back from PCH around noon or 1 oclock? Saw two Visions myself while the waife and I enjoyed a ride down to Paradise Cove in Malibu for a late lunch. We also saw two Visions that day one on Las Posas and the other one a Vision Street riding North along PCH. Either way it was a beautiful day for riding along the coast. We should get together for a ride someday, email me at PCNova54@yahoo.com
Peace, |

That was Jed and Sue (Vision and CC), they were riding to my house, then we took off for Ojai together. They said they saw ya out there.
Anytime you want to ride, I am there!

Posts: 1229 Rancho Cucamonga, CA | Always looking for someone to ride with. I'm have knee surgery next week and may be off the bike a few weeks. Be glad you're not here in the summer when it hits 112 and it feels like your riding in a convection oven. I kinda wish it was colder here. . .

Posts: 444 Bay of Gigs, WA | Temp is no issue. 5.3" of rain in 30 hours can be. So, unlike all these other guys, I hate you.
But not Nozzle. 97 in December is just wrong, and a buck twelve is too hot I don't care when it is! LOL |

Yup quite possible it was us that you saw. Rode up PCH from Santa Monica to Pt Mugu. We stopped at Neptunes for a bit and after meeting up with Tim in Simi we ventured out to Ojai and saw one person on a Skull XC and another two up on a Vision while having pizza at Boccalis. Great day for a ride tons of bikes out..
Watch the Rose Parade on New Years day, It will be clear and sunny and you will see the Mountain range in the backgroud that is part of our riding playground.

Posts: 199 Salt Lake City | I grew up in Redondo Beach, and I must say, I don't miss Southern Cal a bit; I mean, what do you guys have that we don't here in Salt Lake City?! So - you saw a couple of other Vic Visions out on the road - Even though it was snowing here and I couldn't ride, I saw several handsomely dressed polygamist women. And just think, it is just that many more miles that I will get to put on my bike when yours is worn out. So there, dude; you ain't so cool |

| We were riding 2 up on the Midnight Cherry Vision heading East from PCH @ noon on Sunday when we passed a Black Vision with 2 up riders. I didn't recognize who it was. We also got our picture taken on by the RockStore photographer on the Snake.
http://www.flickr.com/photos/capfacsurf/5259870830/in/set-72157625595536934/ Who was on the Black Vision. Jed has a Vision and his wife has a Cross-Country, but they may have been riding 2 up.
