Just go to your victory dealer and they can order it for you. I ordered two cans of aerosol cans of midnight cherry for my vision and it cost me like22.50 plus tax. Its one of the best values on victory stuff I have found. Good luck.

If you get the paint code from the dealer, any automotive paint supplier can mix the paint for you as well.

Just tell your dealer you have the midnight cherry and want a pint of paint . It cost me about 100.00 for the pint of paint and a quart of activator. Parts that where painted looked like factory. The painter had some problem getting the cover completley clean, had some fish eyes and had to do the cover 3 times before he was happy with the look,he used all the paint and has some activator left over. Hope this helps.

I'll get you the can numbers later todaty( after 9 am) and no you don't have to clear coat. Panter told me to match the paint, just apply as directed ( spray one coat up and down the other coat back and fourth ) and it will match. If you are using a primmer, pick one that is a dark color ie for black cherry use a red one. hope this helps, and I'll get those numbers off the can in the morning (if I remember) ,

Mike
oh I think that you reduce the paint 8 to 1 with the activator . An instruction booklet come with paint and activator .

You will have a difficult time trying to use the factory paint to match the bike color. Its better if you go down to a Dupont dealer and have them shoot a scan on the bike. The will be able to get the color closer. The factory paint from Victory has lots of different shades. I have seen three bikes side by side and all have different looking shades to them.
The factory paint is also a tri coat.... so in order to get the depth you will have to shoot a candy or a pearl over the top of the base.
Good luck

the paint from Victory is not a clear coat color system. The factory paint is made at Midwest Industrial Coatings ,located in shakopee,mn. The factory paint matched perfect, I had scuffed my left saddle bag lid ,took the lid hinges and all off gave it to my painter,he took it home and about 10 days later he called and said come pict it up. So I drove the bike to the shop and put the lid on and you could not tell it was ever repainted. But he did have some problems with it "fish eyed" , he had to sand the first two coats off and reprime and repaint it twice. I use to sell auto parts and have done thousands of mixing dupont paint products over the 25 plus years that I worked in the auto after market and I could find no where any paints chips,or places that dupont could scan the color. If you have done this with someone who has a scanner and can match the paint using dupont thats good that it can be done from another source . But I will go back to Victory and use the factory paint .

Maybe Victory has narrowed their delima with different shades. I worked at a local victory shop here in Az. I painted with factory pack colors. It was a tri coat system. Base with a pearl clear over it, then coated with a clear coat. The shades never matched. I was forced to make a pearl intercoat that i could tint. Then cover it with clear. The grey was even worse. The factory pack was three layers with a clear on top. Now this was the begining of 09'. I would hope they would have mastered it by now.
In order to scan the color you are going to need someone with lots of experience in mixing. In order to do it right he had to mix it by hand. Then you still have to do drop down panels to get it right. When did you have the bike paint at your dealer? Just curious.....
This is the main reason that i only do black and not offer color matching for the grey or black cherry on my website. It would be nice to extend this service to the rest of the victory riders.
I would appreciate any help , or information you could offer on the subject.
