Hi!

Bought a brand new Vision Tour (premium) black cherry. It's only the 2nd V-twin I've owned (the other was a Honda VTX) Walked into the dealer on 9 days ago, picked it up 2 days ago. I also got the driving lights, trunk rack, bags and the level1 stage 1 exhausts. Like I said in the subject line: Oh My God! Traded in my 2005 Goldwing. This is the 16th bike I've owned in my life (I'm 58) and I've gotta tell ya, this one is right up there at the top. Almost all of them have been Honda, so I'm a little nervous about maintenance and all that "stuff." I'm not a wrench. Just like to get on the bike and GOOOOOOOOOOOO! I only have 90 miles on it so far, so wish me luck. I live in a small town just outside Denver, Colorado. If anybody wants to ride, just let me know. I'm retired and belong to the Patriot Guard Riders, so they won't make fun of my "quiet" goldwing anymore. Wish me luck! I've got some adjusting to do as far as the gearing goes, compared to the wing. I look at it this way. With the V-twin, I can go fast, faster, but I can't go as fast. Good enough for me. Oh yes. The wife likes it too! That's BIG!

Squeak, welcome aboard. This is one ride that gets sweeter each time. I'm not one to believe in lady luck, but I will say a prayer for you for many happy miles of smiles.

Welcome to Vision-Riders, Squeak.  The Vision is a beautiful bike(I don't care what anyone else says), isn't it?  You've come to the right place to find most things you need to know about your bike.  A lot of the riders on this site have been here since before the first production bikes were delivered.  I am relatively new myself but have learned a lot from the others here.  If you come up with any problems on your bike or its electronic gizmos (Ihope you don't) it has probably already been discussed here and can be found by using the search function.  There are also a couple of Vision-Riders in your area who you will probably hear from soon.

Good luck.  Ride safe.

Wayne

Hey Squeak -

I also live in a small town just outside of Denver - in my case WEST of Denver, just off I-70, a slight bit west of Evergreen, specifically at Floyd Hill, if you know where that is..... Which "small town" are you in? I picked up my Vision last Saturday, and with snow the past two days at my house, I'm going bonkers wanting to ride. I'll be out of town from this Thursday (4/3) until April 12, but let's get together and RIDE!!!!!
