Posts: 297 VA | I did a search but didn't really see this anywhere, so starting a new post. Has anyone seen a waterproof case, fitted pouches, etc for tomtom GPS units. I bought a tomtom GO720 at Christmas, and I really would like to use it with my bike rather than forking out $1,000 for the Victory Garmin version. I'll get power to it, so I'm really just more concerned with getting a case so that it won't get wet. It's hard to imagine that you have to pay $1,000 to get a waterproof GPS, but the motorcycle versions are all that expensive if not more. Hate to be a cheap skate, but after shelling out that much for the bike, it'd be nice to find something to save a few bucks. Thanks for the help.

Fountain Inn, SC United States | I put a ziplock sandwich bag over mine (Garmin C550) when it rains. Touch screen still works too. | |

Posts: 297 VA | I might look at some of the threads on here and see if anyone else had some creative ideas that I could adapt. The sandwhich bag is pretty easy, but I was hoping to add something that I would keep over it, almost like the iPod skins that you can buy to protect it. Dunno, might have to do a little looking, but thanks for the suggestion.
